Justice in Islam ⚖

Islam provides many rights to the individual, the following are some of those rights that Islam protects. 🏺

The life and property of all citizens in an Islamic state are considered sacred, regardless of whether the person is Muslim or not. Islam also protects honor, so in Islam speaking bad words at others or making fun of them is not allowed.

Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: 📔
“Certainly your blood, your goods, and your honor are inviolable.”

Racism is not allowed in Islam, as the Qur’an speaks of equality between men in the following terms: 📜

“يا أيها الناس إنا خلقناكم من ذكر وأنثى وجعلناكم شعوبا وقبائل لتعارفوا إن أكرمكم عند الله أتقاكم إن الله عليم خبير”

“O mankind! We have created you out of a male and a female, and We have made you tribes and sub-tribes that you may recognise (and do good to) one another. Surely the most honourable of you in the sight of Allâh is he who guards against evil the most. Verily, Allâh is All- knowing, All-Aware.”

(Quran 49:13)

Islam rejects the idea of favoring certain individuals or nations because of their wealth, power, or race. Allah created human beings as equal beings who should be distinguished from each other based only on piety and faith. 🙏
