The best virtue of a Muslim. 🧐

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“Sadaqa (charity) is obligatory for each joint of each person, every day since the sun rises. Administering justice between two people is also sadqa. Helping a person to mount his mount or to load his luggage onto his beast is also sadqa. A good word is sadaqa, every step you take towards prayer is sadqa, and removing harmful objects from the path is sadqa. ”
📜 (Bukhaari and Muslim, this is the wording of Bukhaari).

Due to the importance of this virtue, Islam assigned one of the Zakat disbursement channels for those who seek to reconcile people.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“The best charity is to reconcile people”
📜 (At-Tabarani in Al Muham Al Kabir).

Reconciling people is a branch of faith and an Islamic moral code through which grudges are removed, hearts are purified, and the flames of fitnah are extinguished. Allah Almighty says about this in the holy Qur’an:

“لَا خَيْرَ فِي كَثِيرٍ مِنْ نَجْوَاهُمْ إِلَّا مَنْ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ أَوْ مَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ إِصْلَاحٍ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ ۚ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللَّهِ فَسَوْفَ نُؤْتِيهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا”
“There is no good in many of their secret conferences. But (good lies only in the secret deliberations of) those who enjoin charity, equitable dealings or making peace between people. And whoso does that, seeking the pleasure of Allâh, We shall soon bestow a great reward on him.”

Islam urges the believer to consider the reconciliation of people as one of his most important goals in this life, since it is through reconciliation that the Ummah becomes a coherent unity, where one part seeks to amend the other. ❤

In this way, it becomes a single body: if one of its organs complains, the rest of the body suffers from insomnia and fever. Neglecting this matter leads to the disintegration of the Ummah and the severing of its ties. 🤝

Reconciling people is a great act of worship that Allah Almighty loves. The one who seeks to reconcile people is the one who offers his effort, money, authority and power to reconcile the parties in dispute. 🙋‍♂️

He is a person whose soul loves goodness and longs for it. He does not care about people’s opinions or criticisms as long as he is seeking to please Allah Almighty. He exposes himself to embarrassing situations and shares the concerns of his Muslim brothers in order to reconcile two people. 👍
